Strategies On How To Be Successful In Mobile Marketing

The newest and best way to reach your target audience is mobile marketing. This article offers up a number of useful ways to grow your business through mobile marketing, building contact lists and email list building tactics

Share It

Make it easy for your customers to share your mobile marketing message. Use solo ads and email marketing to build an email list and share your good fortunes. Options such as discounts based on referrals or suggestions to forward a special offer to a friend can lead to increased word of mouth advertising. Many consumers look to friends and family for recommendations, so making it easy to share your mobile messages can significantly increase your customer base.

Opt Out

Make sure that you give your customers an easy way to opt out of mobile marketing messages. These messages can be via a messenger or an email list. Options such as codes to text to be removed from a distribution list make interaction easy. Even if customers choose to stop receiving mobile messages, they will likely remember that you made it simple and be more prone to opt back in if they see the value in your messages.

Keep It Simple

Keep your mobile marketing simple. It is important to keep the number of required clicks to a minimum to raise the response of your efforts. Since using a mobile keypad is frustrating if it require excessive typing, do not require too much information to be given. Only ask questions that are absolutely needed and make your directions very clear.

Capitalization

Stay away from caps lock, unless you are giving a call to action. Using caps lock at any other time during a message can come across as if you are yelling at someone, and no one likes to be yelled at. Stay polite and calm by only using caps lock if necessary.

Schedule

If you are making use of mobile marketing – send an occasional reminder message! If you have some sort of event coming up, you should remind your customers a few days ahead of time, as well as the day of the event itself. Customers are busy people, and may forget what they had wanted to do without a reminder from you.

Group Customers

Separate your customers. If you have a business that offers many different types of products or services, you may want to poll your customers to find out what they most want to hear about. Doing so can give you separate lists of customers with similar interests, so you will be able to send them information pertinent to them.

Post QR Codes

Don’t forget to use QR codes on your printed advertisements to appeal to smartphone users. This makes it easier for smartphone users to gain quick access to your website or promotion. Your brochures, business cards, emails and catalogs should all have QR codes printed on them. With easy availability, customers who have a need or desire for your services and products can reach out to you through the QR codes. This is a good method to use to build your email lists, using qr codes to offers that build your relationship with your customer.

Responsive Advertising

When creating advertising for the mobile web, you must ensure that the content is compatible with a majority of different mobile browsers. This is important to consider because you do not want to inadvertently restrict customers from being able to view your content. Stick with the major phone manufacturers and double check to see if there are any restrictions that the service providers may have in place.

Create A Business Plan

Crafting a legitimate business plan is a good idea with mobile marketing. Just because the mobile devices are small, that certainly doesn’t mean that your task is going to be an easy one. Make sure you’re doing what you can to preplan your entire campaign, from inception to hypothesized fruition you want to try to cover all angles. Do not forget to include email marketing as building an email list is still the best way to big payouts.

Time/Mobile Management

Even though you’re marketing in the mobile world, you still have to make sure that you keep improving your efforts outside of this realm. Allowing other areas of marketing to lapse and putting too much focus on mobile marketing will hurt your business, no matter how well your mobile marketing is doing. Use your calendar and task list to allot regular times for each kind of marketing campaign.

Video Conferencing

Getting a webcam and setting up a Skype account to have a face-to-face with your customers is a great way to handle mobile marketing if this fits your business. Not every person out there wants to be that personable in business, but if you have affiliates working for you or some seriously loyal customers, this is a good move to stay in contact with them, in a personal way.

Conclusion:

With advertisement, there is always room for improvement. Incorporating email marketing and email list building into your marketing plan is useful on desktops and in mobile marketing. And, of course, you must always analyze the competition. With the tips supplied above, you should be able to stay well ahead of your competition.

Create A Better Site With These Web Design Tips

Introduction:

Are you hoping to learn how to create a fabulous website? Are you aware of what goes into creating an excellent website? It’s web design. Without attractive web design, your website will not draw visitors. This article will give you a great path forward. Check out the tips below.

Favicon

It is always good to add a favicon to your website. The favicon is a 16×16 image file in the .Ico format. This image is the one you see next to the URL bar, next to the title of the page on an opened tab and is also visible on your bookmarks tab if you choose to bookmark a page. The favicon will help users quickly recognize your page in their browser without reading any text or directly viewing the page. Canva can help you design your favicon and logos for your site.

HTML5

HTML5 video is set to become the next standard for displaying videos on the web and naturally, you should offer both a way in which users can stream your content through an HTML5 format as well as another format such as flash for those who have an older browser version.

To WWW or Not

Although it is common to see the www. at the front of a website URL, you should try to make sure that you can access your site whether you choose to include it or not. This will make it much easier for anyone to access regardless of how they type it.

Backgrounds

Pay close attention to the background of your pages. Some sites include complex or patterned GIF backgrounds that can make text hard to read, no matter how novel it may look. Choose a background which coordinates well with the message that you are trying to impart, it must blend in well with the balance of your website design. Canva has beautiful gradient backgrounds that can set the mood for your site.

Graphics

When you are creating graphics or photos for your website, be sure to keep the file size small. If your graphics are too large, your page will load slowly and your visitors will leave. You can find many free or inexpensive graphics programs online like Canva that will optimize your images before you load them to your website.

Photographs

Personalize your site. Your clients want to feel comfortable with you, so use testimonials from trusted customers, as well as photographs of people. Building trust with your customers is very important, so be sure to let them know you personally care about the product or service you are providing them.

Fonts

Learning some basic HTML will help you add some interesting extras to your site. For example, you can have words that follow your cursor, or a banner that flashes important information. Make sure to change the colors and fonts occasionally, so you seem more involved with the web site and its design. Canva makes all this very easy.

Icons

Avoid using animated GIFs on your site. These were popular in the late 1990s, but newer technologies have replaced the uses for animated GIFs that were actually useful. Animated GIFs are low in quality and large in file size. Use static icons for page elements and actual video files for complex animations.

Png

Be sure to select the correct graphics when designing your website. Remember, bitmap images can get quite large and often don’t work very well while PNG images work fine. PNG should be used for buttons with text and screenshots that have 256 colors or more. JPEG files are best for photographs.

Conclusion

Do you want to have an excellent website? Do you know what it is that makes a great website now? Do you understand web design? Can you use the information you learned here to apply it to future designs? After reading the above article, you should now be able to answer yes to those questions.
